
Committee Roles
1
Chair
The Chair provides leadership for the committee and manages meetings in line with the agenda. They are responsible for making sure every voice is heard and issue debated fully and fairly.

The chair is responsible for making sure the running of FOHSA is in line with the constitution and all reports are submitted to regulatory bodies.
​
They maintain relations with the school and ensure that objectives are aligned.

Vice-Chair
The Vice-Chair is an invaluable support to the Chair, making sure the committee and all events run smoothly.
​
They deputise for the Chair when required.

Treasurer
A key role to manage and control the funds raised by FOHSA. The committee has shared responsibility for the funds; however, the treasurer helps this to be carried out in an efficient manner.

The treasurer is responsible for the day to day management of bank accounts and completing banking transactions.

Secretary
The secretary ensures clear communication between members, committee and school.
They deal with any correspondence received, take minutes at meetings and ensure meetings run smoothy. Additionally, they help to support events by booking and confirming arrangements.

Class Representatives
Class representatives ensure communication to the class is clear. They welcome new parents and make them feel part of the school. They arrange social get togethers and functions for the class and parents.

Class reps are key to the running of FOHSA. They attend meetings, get involved with running fundraising events and encourage enthusiasm and participation for events organised by FOHSA.

Trustees
Trustees are the voting members of FOHSA. They make sure all decisions made by the committee are in line with the constitution.
​
FOHSA must have at least 10 voting members at any one time.
